Got my latest Kia last year, test drove an ev6, didn't like it. Too wide, cheap looking interior & dangerously fast, so twitchy i wouldn't have confidence in the dales midwinter.

Leaves me cold & I like Kia, been my car of choice for years. Too big, too expensive & fugly. Much rather have the Picanto 👍

Just sold my 2010 2.9 - an absolutely perfect sports car than I ran for 3 years and it did not break the bank at all. Find a good one, find a decent specialist to look after it and you will be in motoring heaven. A great introduction to the brand. Get a gen 2. It’s much better.

JayEmm - Your Auto Vocabulary is another level above JC.... so living between Switzerland and Australia, the only negative is those winter grey skies, leafless trees and of course those traditional UK poor, patchwork tarmac surfaces with potholes these cars/drivers simply do not deserve. These worthy cars need to be driven/filmed across the Alps where ribbon layers of tarmac are draped across the mountains down to the Italian Lakes in the Spring or Autumn months, with Jay enjoying being probably one of the best objective auto journalists in the world, so keep up the good work on the Euro side of well constructed, fit for purpose roads where you can hear the car symphony rather than the noisy concrete, congested and poorly maintained UK roads! To be frank, and given that such a huge vehicle such as this presents a greater hazard to other road users than smaller vehicles, I'm very pleased that those speed warnings are irksome. The very fact that you find them annoying suggests to me that you're speeding quite regularly. Apart from that, a great video.

I have been driving 406 coupes since 2005 and I love mine 3l V6... Stunningly beautiful and a sweet drive. And despite owning and driving a 911 997 c2s and a BMW z4 3.0i I still adore driving my 406 coupe...❤️ My parents had the 406 saloon version 2l 110cv diesel and it was a very good car indeed, and so cheap to run and mega solid. My dad hardly changed anything during his 130k ownership 👀😳 Cab drivers had them and they are rock solid... Many did over 500k with them👀 My only regret... When I was after an estate car for my dog, I should have bought a 2.2 diesel 136cv 406... Instead of a Vauxhall Vectra C 1.9 cdti 150 (which is ok though and was mega cheap too)😖

If you factor in the depreciation of your electric car your £8 for 500 miles isn't worth a toss, your EV doesn't chuck anything out of the back because the fumes are just shifted to the power station, so stop being deluded.

I remember seeing these driving around as a kid and always thought they looked amazing. About 2 years ago I was lucky to find a very well kept example and ended up buying it. It's not a V8 but the 520i with the 2.2L inline 6. As much as I was skeptical about buying such and old car it's been a great experience. ~173,000 original km and was with the same owner since 2004 or so. I have a feeling I'll have a hard time ever letting it go.

#614 reporting in. Bought her when she was 3 yrs old and 7400 mi. Has 87K now but had to do and engine rebuild at 70K due to bore scoring. Now I have an engine I can trust on a beautiful body.

I had 3 QP, the 4.2 Duoselect, the 4.2 Automatic and the 4.7s Gtexecutive Automatic with Larini exhaust and it was incredible!!! I regret selling it and looking for a good 4.7s GTS But the sticky buttons issue was a nightmare!!! Super expensive to solve and very few real experts that would give a guarantee of a good job

Very nice video with interesting ideas. As a disabled person with a limited lifespan, I see all this as another unnecessary problem. Rarely move from bed an had to move to a flat due to stairs and financial troubles. Not sure how I will be paying the rent in the near future, but had to change my perfectly working petrol Volvo for an emissions compliant car, mainly because hospitals are in big cities.

I wouldn't turbo it and screw up the fuel ratios that I'm not technically capable of correcting. Besides, the entire IMA system is essentially an electric to turbo. The computer senses the need for additional torque and sends stored battery power to the electric motor between the gas engine and the transmission which provides direct assistance to the powertrain.

I've never been terrified to drive any of my G1 Insights on the freeway (over 500,000 miles and counting) unless they were broken somehow.

Your presentation style is getting better and better. Detailed, but not dull and woven in are anecdotes with flurries of creative language. All not easy to do whilst trying to drive. Hats off to you. I opted for the other money pit, l322. So far 1 year in it’s been brilliant and I love it.

Aren’t there issues with the 3L leaking though? That 2L should be dead reliable. We’re starting to shop for a CrV replacement. My wife who famously cares not a bit about her car has yawned at all suggestions. Until this. Knocked me over. And says something that it could make her notice and ignore the price. My Boxster may have a roommate!

I have 2006 x206 s-type with all extras and ı in love with my jag no major problems all the years this ıf you plan this control this before buy 1- heater water valve 5 way or 3 way 2- front rod ends and tie rods 3- front and rear wheel bearings 4-always use genuine fuel filter for diesels otherway you may have late start issues 5-use premium brake pads this jags heavy and need premium brakes 6-mine have xenon lights and they have horrible visibility buy premium bulbs

Jay didn't really seem too enthused by this car at all, shame really. I however am privileged to be a member of this community and plan on driving mine till the wheels fall off. And because I live in a tropical climate and not near the sea, I will have many more years to keep falling in love with mine!
